Emergency Medicine

Introduction

The Emergency Department is the gateway of our hospital, providing immediate care for sudden illnesses and injuries. We are equipped to accept emergencies 24/7, 365 days a year, and play a key role in referring patients to specialized departments when necessary. Additionally, we actively accept medical requests from other hospitals.

Characteristics of this department

In addition to handling regular secondary emergency cases, we also provide critical care for heart and brain diseases. Since the hospital opened, new departments have been established to address a wide range of conditions. The hospital is supported by in-house paramedics who assist with both inpatient and outpatient care. Our emergency care involves a team approach with nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a comprehensive response to emergencies. Additionally, with our "ER+" initiative, we focus not only on initial emergency care but also on the ongoing treatment and management of patients in the wards.

Main diseases

In addition to various injuries, shock, infectious diseases, and other special conditions, we also handle common diseases such as cardiovascular, respiratory, and digestive disorders. We have also started providing care for pediatric and gynecological conditions (including obstetrics).

For out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and shock patients, we collaborate with the intensive care unit to provide world-class standard treatments.

Treatment

  • We handle all types of emergency conditions.
  • After providing initial treatment, our specialists continue with the detailed treatment.
  • The emergency department also manages specific emergency-related conditions, offering both outpatient and inpatient care.

Medical Equipment

We are equipped with standard devices for intensive care, including various types of ventilators, membrane oxygenators (ECMO), intra-aortic balloon pumping (IABP), renal replacement therapy, intravascular cooling catheters, and neuro-monitoring devices (intracranial pressure monitoring, EEG, INVOS).
